Special Olympics has built a world class reputation on fairness, good sportsmanship and ethical conduct.  To ensure this is maintained, we have included a new link to the Maryland State guidelines ( Participation Requirements- lower left) for the purpose of awareness for all involved in the program.  Please take a few moments to become familiar with them.

 

These expectations will be upheld and enforced.  If  a breech occurs, it will be reviewed by a newly formed conduct committe.  Every effort will be made to work with the individual or family to foster a mutual understanding of what is appropriate. 

 

If these efforts are not complied with or if the action could potentially cause harm to themselves or others, the action of being removed either temporarily or indefinately from participation could occur.
